On 10th December 2025, the Pillai University, New Panvel had organized intercollegiate competition ” MAKERTHON 7.O “. There were total 50 colleges with 200 Groups participates in this mega event. Changu Kana Thakur Secondary and Higher Secondary Vidyalaya, New Panvel participated in Makerthon competition under the guidance of Respected Principal Mr. Prashant More Sir, Supervisor Mr. Ajit Sonawane Sir(Arts and Commerce), and Supervisor Mrs. Swati Patil Madam (Science). The students from XI and XII standards participated in 4 different groups (Science and Technology, Designing and Bizathon). There were 4 students in each group. Students from class XI and XII Science Mast. Mirza Abdullah Sharique (XI S9), Mast. Patil Nishant Sandip (XI S9), Mast. Mhatre Dhruval Deepak (XII S8), Mast. Yadav Sudhakar Shivgopal( XII S8) secured First prize and awarded with trophy and group cash prize of 10000₹. and (mentor)guided teacher Mrs. Samita Rajendra Wangane madam awarded with trophy and cash prize of 3000₹. under the Group category Science and Technology. Mast. Sonkamble Ujjwal Dalit (XI S1), Mast. Shaikh Nasibali Shajad (XI S1), Mast. Bhosale Pranav Sanjay( XI S1), Mast. Kamble Yash Naresh (XI S1) in the other groups under the category Creativity, secured second prize and awarded with trophy and group cash prize of 7500₹. and (mentor)guided teacher Mrs. Arti Khuspe madam awarded with trophy and a cash prize of 2500₹.
One more group under the category Science and Technology, Mast. Molawade Sai Sanjay (XII S7), Mast. Lavnang Atharva Ashok (XII S7), Mast. Patil Vedant Vilas( XII S8), Mast. Mhatre Archit Ratnakar (XII S8) awarded with participation certificates with guided teacher Mrs. Samita Wangane madam. The other group under the category Bizathon, Mast. Chauhan Aditya Ratanlal (XI C3), Mast. Varma Kisan Sanjay (XI C3), Mast. Patil Samarth Bhargav (XI C3), Mast. Narkar Reeshant Mahesh ( XI C3) awarded with participation certificates with guided teacher Mrs. Arti Khuspe madam.
The event witnesses the students to not only provide platform to express their understanding of Science and Commerce concepts but also encouraged teamwork and collaboration showcasing their innovative spirits.
