Teachers Day Celebration

On Wednesday,10th September 2025, Janardhan Bhagat Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha’s Changu Kana Thakur Secondary and Higher Secondary Vidyalaya, New Panvel, celebrated Teachers Day . The occasion was observed with great enthusiasm and was marked by various events and activities that reflected respect, gratitude and admiration towards teachers.

*Students  Programme *

To make the celebration more meaningful, students and teachers of the Higher Secondary Section collaborated for the day. Students from Class XII Arts, Commerce and Science streams took on the role of teachers and conducted lessons for students of Class XI and XII according to a preplanned schedule. Their dedication, enthusiasm and commitment were widely appreciated by all.

Miss. Hansika Kalal, XII S8 (Morning Section) and Miss Parnavi Shivnekar, XII C4 (Afternoon Section) acted as Principals for the day and supervised the academic activities with responsibility and confidence.

A total of 73 students from the Science Section and 50 from the Commerce and Arts Sections participated enthusiastically as student-teachers.

The Students Programme was anchored by Mrs. Aparna Mukane and Mr. Milind Surwade, who ensured the event proceeded smoothly, with enthusiasm and professionalism.

Guidance and Support

The program was conducted under the guidance of Principal Shri. Prashant More Sir, Supervisor Shri. Ajit Sonawane Sir , Supervisor Smt. Swati Patil Madam and all subject teachers, who provided continuous support and encouragement to the student-teachers throughout the event.

Felicitation Ceremony

All Higher Secondary teachers and non-teaching staff were honored with gifts as a token of appreciation for their valuable contribution to the institution and their unwavering dedication.

Guest of Honour’s Address

Dr. S.T. Gadade Sir, Secretary of J.B.S.P. Sanstha and the guest of the program, addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of teachers in the education system. He appreciated their hard work and dedication towards shaping future generations.

Principal’s Address

Principal Shri. Prashant More Sir expressed that in today’s generation, students are increasingly using technology for study. Therefore, teachers need to continuously update their skills to meet the needs of new generations and overcome emerging challenges. He extended his heartfelt wishes to all teachers on the occasion of Teachers Day.

Teacher’s Representative Speech

Mrs. Dhanashree Mane and Mr. Kapil Dandge, representing the teaching community, shared their thoughts and expressed gratitude for the efforts and commitment shown by teachers in educating and guiding students.

Anchoring of the Program

The entire program was smoothly and gracefully anchored by Mrs. Aparna Mukane .

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by the cultural committee, appreciating the participation and contributions of all involved and making the celebration a memorable and inspiring experience.
