On Friday, 30 January 2026 , Changu Kana Thakur Secondary and Higher Secondary Vidyalaya observed Martyrs’ Day to pay tribute to the great martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation.
The programme was conducted under the able guidance of Principal Mr. Prashant More Sir, Supervisor Mrs. Swati Patil Madam, and Mr. Ajit Sonawane Sir. The programme was smoothly anchored by Mrs. Smita Naik Madam, who guided the proceedings and explained the significance of Martyrs’ Day to the students.
Teachers and students gathered on the school premises to participate in the observance with respect and discipline. As per the government guidelines, all students and staff stood in silence for two minutes to pay homage to the martyrs and remember their supreme sacrifice for the country.
