On the auspicious occasion of the 300th birth anniversary of Punyashlok Rajmata Ahilyadevi Holkar, an Essay Writing Competition was organized by Janardhan Bhagat Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha’s Changu Kana Thakur Secondary and Higher Secondary Vidyalaya, New Panvel on Friday,30th May 2025.The event was conducted virtually via Zoom to ensure the participation of students while maintaining accessibility.
The program was attended by Hon.Shri.Sanjay Bhagat Sir ( Member Of Board Executive of JBSP Sanstha), Principal Shri.Prashant More Sir, Supervisor Smt.Swati Patil Madam and all teachers.
The objective of the competition was to honor the legacy of Rajmata Ahilyadevi Holkar, a visionary ruler and a symbol of good governance, social justice, and women’s empowerment. The essay topic focused on her life, contributions, and values, aiming to inspire students and deepen their understanding of India’s rich heritage.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from 50 students of 12th class. Each participant presented a well-researched composition reflecting their writing skills and their admiration for the great queen.
This competition proved to be a fitting tribute to Rajmata Ahilyadevi Holkar’s enduring legacy and a valuable opportunity for students to connect with history through expression and reflection.
