On 27 November 2025, The Pillai College of Arts, Commerce and Science, New Panvel organized Inter-Junior College Debate Competition . Changu Kana Thakur Secondary and Higher Secondary Vidyalaya, New Panvel enthusiastically participated under the guidance of Principal Mr. Prashant More Sir, Supervisor Mrs. Swati Patil Madam, and Supervisor Mr. Ajit Sonawane Sir.
Students from Class XII (Science) represented the institution in two different groups. They presented their views on the thought-provoking debate topic “ If Robotics and Drones Replace Delivery Boy .”
Miss. Borde Asmita of XII S4 and Mast. Pathare Kartik of XII S4 delivered commendable performances and secured the Second Prize. They were awarded a trophy, a cash prize of ₹600, and certificates in recognition of their achievement.
The participants were also guided and encouraged by Mrs. Anjali Kulkarni Madam.
The event provided an intellectually stimulating platform for students to articulate their perspectives, exchange ideas, and enhance their confidence in public speaking. It proved to be a valuable learning experience, promoting critical thinking and effective communication.
