On the occasion of Gurupurnima Extra Co-Curricular Committee of Changu Kana Thakur Secondary and Higher Secondary Vidyalaya ,New Panvel collaboration with Bharat Vikas Parishad organized Guru Vandan Chhatra Abhinandan Under the guidance of Principal Mr.Prashant More Sir ,Supervisor Mrs.Swati Patil Madam and Mr.Ajit Sonawane Sir on Saturday 11 July 2025.
Primary purpose of this Programme is to Strengthen in the mind of children the idea of respecting their parents and teachers, whose blessings will enable them to be successful in the life.Under this Programme, the representative of BVP Mr.Nitin Kanitkar (Prant Joint Secretary)and his team visit selected schools,college around their areas to thanks and gratitude to the teachers.
The most important aspect of the program that make it a special one is that the students are encouraged to take the blessings of teachers by touching their feet.
Under this program, representative of BVP had felicitated respected Principal Mr.Prashant More Sir ,Supervisor Mr.Ajit Sonawane (Arts and Commerce Section) And Supervisor Mrs.Swati Patil Madam (Science Section)by offering them shawl ,flower and cotton bag.
Selected students from our college had felicitated senior teachers by offering them flower and taking their blessings led by the BVP.The students received certificate from the BVP.
Speech by student representative Miss.Janvi Naik and teacher representative Mrs.Trupti Joshi Madam highlighted the importance of the guru in Indian culture,emphasizing the role of the teacher in guiding the students through the path of the learing values and wisdom.
The program was introduced by Mrs.Savita Sawant Madam .
