Under the guidance of Respected Principal Mr. Prashant More Sir and Mr. Ajit Sonawane Sir (Supervisor of Arts and Commerce Section) Mrs. Swati Patil Madam (Supervisor of Science Section), Extra Co-Curricular Committee with Science Committee of Changu Kana Thakur Secondary and Higher Secondary Vidyalaya, New Panvel has organized Drug Awareness campaign 2026.

 The aim of a drug awareness campaign is to educate students about the dangers of drug abuse and prevent its misuse.

         This seminar was initiated by Mr. Nikhilesh Deshmukh Sir.

For this seminar, following dignitaries were present:

Police Inspector – Sachin Kadam,  Police Sub-Inspector – Vijay Raut (Chief Guide), Assistant Sub-Inspector – Santosh Mane, Assistant Sub-Inspector – Sachin Bhalshankar, Police Constable – Zakir Shaikh, Police Constable – Satish Ambi, Lady Police Constable – Aarti Varute, Lady Police Constable – Sujata Salve.

   The event commenced at 11.30 am by Mumbai Railway Police Commissionerate conducted an anti-drug campaign to raise awareness about the increasing consumption of narcotic substances among youth. Under this campaign, Mr Sachin Kadam Sir and Mr. Vijay Raut Sir explained the harmful effects of drugs to the students clearly in his valuable experienced words. Students got knowledge about the harmful effects of narcotics, legal provisions, the importance of addiction-free living, and a safe and healthy lifestyle.

      The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Nikhilesh Deshmukh Sir who expressed his gratitude to  all students, organizers, Members of Mumbai Railway Police Commissionerate and the management for their support.
