On 20th November 2025, the science committee of Janardan Bhagat Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha’s Changu Kana Thakur Secondary & Higher Secondary Vidyalaya, New Panvel, organized a Science Movie Screening under the guidance of respected Principal Mr. Prashant More Sir, Supervisor Mr. Ajit Sonawane Sir(Arts and Commerce), and Supervisor Mrs. Swati Patil Madam (Science). Total 41 students (15 groups) from XI and XII science participated in the Science Movie Screening. The competition was conducted successfully. It aimed to inspire students through a motivational film and help them understand basic scientific concepts through visual learning.
The students responded positively to the film. They enjoyed the story and understood the scientific concepts shown in the movie. They also felt inspired by the child’s creativity and determination.
The competition was judged by Mrs. Trupti Joshi Madam and Mr. Ramhari Maske Sir whose fair judgment and encouraging remarks inspired the students. This event was anchored and concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Smita Naik Madam.
The Science Committee’s movie screening was highly successful. It helped students to understand that scientific concepts are not limited to textbooks but are deeply connected to creativity, imagination, and determination. The film effectively conveyed how simple activities, such as clay modeling, can build a strong foundation for scientific thinking. The screening fulfilled its goal of inspiring students to pursue science with passion and purpose.
