On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 6 October,7 October and 8 October A Mental Health Awareness Seminar was organized For XI & XII Standard students under the guidance of Principal Mr.Prashant More Sir, Supervisor Mrs.Swati Patil Madam and Mr.Ajit Sonawane Sir.
To promote the importance of emotional well-being and to decrease the stigma among youth regarding mental health.
The session aimed to help students understand the significance of maintaining mental and emotional balance, managing academic stress, and seeking professional help without hesitation.
The session was conducted by Miss Minal Patil , Mr. *Sumeet Bharadkar and Miss .Trushal Wadwalkar , Psychologists from Mpower – Aditya Birla Education Trust. They shared valuable insights on how to identify early signs of stress, anxiety, and depression and guided students on ways to build resilience and a positive mindset.
Through interactive discussions, real-life examples, and relaxation exercises, the experts encouraged students to break the silence around mental health issues and support one another in difficult times. The resource persons also highlighted the importance of self-care, emotional regulation, and reaching out for help when needed.
The program successfully created awareness and aimed to reduce the stigma associated with mental health among young minds.
