On the occasion of the 23rd Death Anniversary of Late Shri Changu Kana Thakur Saheb, a Students Felicitation Programme was organized by Changu Kana Thakur Secondary and Higher Secondary Vidyalaya, New Panvel on Sunday, 13th July 2025. The event aimed to honor the legacy of Late Shri Changu Kana Thakur Saheb and to recognize the academic excellence of meritorious students.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome and introduction by the Respected Principal Mr. Prashant More Sir ( Higher Secondary Section) who highlighted the values and vision of Late Shri Changu Thakur Saheb and the importance of educational encouragement for students.
The event was graced by several eminent dignitaries. The Chief Guest of the programme was Hon. Shri R. R. Kankal, (Divisional Deputy Director of Education,Mumbai).

As a part of the celebration, 25 students from Arts, Commerce, and Science streams were felicitated with cash prizes and trophies for their remarkable performance in the H.S.C. Board Examination 2025. The recognition was a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication.
The programme was smoothly and gracefully anchored by Mrs. Aparna Mukane and Miss Yogita Jori, who kept the audience engaged throughout the event.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Mr.Santosh Chavhan Sir ( Head Master Secondary English Medium), who expressed gratitude to all the dignitaries, staff, students, and guests for making the programme a grand success.
This memorable event not only celebrated academic excellence but also paid a fitting tribute to the inspirational life and contributions of Late Shri Changu Kana Thakur Saheb.
